Things I can’t show you

I’ve been busy stamping and creating, but I can’t show you any of it because it’s for my Spring Mini Party coming up in a couple of weeks :)

If you want to see what I’ve been busy doing, you need to RSVP and come along!!!

Don’t forget to let me know if you prefer the Friday night or the Saturday.

Absent!

I’ve been very slack with my posting – my excuse is that my camera died so I have nothing to show.  I still don’t have a camera … I might have to beg/borrow/steal!

Anway, for those interested I am running a class in my home on Saturday night – a Stamp-A-Stack.

We’re making 9 cards of 3 different designs – 2 different Christmas cards using the lovely Season of Joy & a female birthday card using the Crazy for Cupcakes set.

Cost is $20 or $25 if you want to include co-ordinating envelopes.

Contact me to book a seat – places limited, first in best dressed!

Here’s a card I made for my husband’s cousin recently … I had to get her to take a picture of her own birthday card!

This card uses the beautiful Parisian Breeze papers from the new mini catalogue (available from 1st August), some Baja Breeze, Chocolate Chip & Kraft card stock with some choc chip ribbon, a button from the Button Bouquet on p 151 of the cataloge and the eyelet border punch.  I’ve stamped the Crazy for Cupcakes image in Stayz on black on watercolour paper and used my blender pens to colour in the image.  To finish off I ‘iced’ the cupcakes with a layer of Crystal Effects to give them that shiny look.  There’s also a bit of glitter on the cupcake bases and all of my edges have been sponged and distressed.

Sometimes I find it so hard to give cards away – I like them too much! I know this one went to a good home though!

Hope to see some of you on Saturday.
